Since 2016, we’ve upgraded process equipment and proactively introduced the PSM management system to enhance operational resilience. We set a pioneering goal in 2020 to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology into manufacturing processes. Our primary mission is to build a smart Factory, leveraging technology to comprehensively enhance safety and production efficiency.

Smart management focuses on "Process Optimization, Smart Monitoring, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety)."

• Process Optimization: We utilize AI for data analysis and prediction to achieve optimal process operating conditions. This systematic approach minimizes human operational deviation and ensures stability in production, efficiency, and quality. Concurrently, our smart control systems maximize operational function, which delivers significant energy efficiency and carbon reduction benefits.
• Smart Monitoring: AI integrated with process safety monitoring enables early warning of equipment anomalies, facilitating swift response from personnel to ensure process safety, prevent VOCs fugitive emissions, and avoid equipment damage, thereby comprehensively mitigating risks.
• EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety): We promote AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) image recognition to reinforce plant management of access control systems, smart weighbridges, and tanker safe loading practices.

Implementation and Strategy

To accelerate digital transformation, the Vinyl Chain business group established an AI Team to formulate project plans and execution timelines. Moving forward, we will continue to integrate the plant's software and hardware resources to establish a comprehensive management system, ensuring sustainable development amidst increasingly fierce industrial competition.
